Round Pen Work With Ace!

Let me start by saying, that I am so disappointed in technology.





I set up my camera to record me working with Ace. I was hoping to capture a "join-up moment."



Ace and I happily re-connected in the round pen after about 10 minutes. Apparently, my camera happily died after about 3.





So, all I have is a video of Ace trotting and cantering around in circles.



*And speaking of technology failing, my internet is too slow to upload the video. So, I'll try again tomorrow. In the mean time, here is a picture.*

He has become so round! (Though to his credit, he is standing a little sideways in this picture...)

Hopefully I'll have him back up to my place in the next month or two!

Just A Quick Update

I headed home for the holidays right before Christmas with my thoroughbred (Secret), dog (Payton), and cat (Winston Churchill) in tow.

(My mother questioned why I "couldn't just bring home dirty laundry like every other college kid?" )

I was excited to see my family of course, but I was also excited to see Ace.

He wasn't quite as enthused to see me- he was more interested in whether I had food for him or not.

His time in sunny South Florida has made him fat. Fat and happy, but fat. (Not that he seemed to mind.)

I enjoyed playing with him and I miss him now that I've returned to school.

However, I'm going home again this weekend and I plan to do some round pen work with him.

So, I promise an update with pictures will be posted by the end of next week!
